Prior to the implementation of a biological control agent acquisition and release program, a domestic survey was carried out at 16 sites in five Web1 Apr 2007 · The Scotch thistle used in our tests was provided by California Department Food and Agriculture’s Biological Control Program, while all the remaining test plants were grown, from seeds, at our USDA-ARS greenhouse in Albany, California.
