WebThe Rural Veterans Outreach Program seeks to improve rural veterans’ access to benefits through community partnerships. With the recognition that the VA cannot have a physical presence in all rural communities, the goal extends beyond outreach to building lasting relationships between community agencies and the VA. WebVeterans participating in the program complete two sessions: 1. An orientation hosted by multiple providers (Psychology, MD, Chiropractors, Recreational Therapy) 2. A one-on-one meeting with a provider focused on the individual Veterans’ goals The first session focuses on education and motivation.
